7-Eleven Supplier Award

Date: 12-May-2017

Swire Cold Storage is proud to receive a 2016 Supply Chain Excellence Award from 7-Eleven

Each year, 7-Eleven holds a supplier forum for its key supply chain and merchandise partners and other suppliers and recognises outstanding partners from the previous year with Supplier Awards.

At this year’s event, held at Melbourne Park in May, Swire Cold Storage received the honour based on key performance criteria for:

  • supplier support and collaboration in achieving logistics efficiencies to support key initiatives and/or marketing strategies
  • service levels
  • safety performance.

Stephanie Cutinelli, Swire Cold Storage General Manager – Transport and Convenience, said the award was recognition for Swire Cold Storage’s achievements in availability, simplicity and collaboration, and an efficient and effective supply chain.

“Specifically, we were commended for our service levels during the sandwich promotion last year during which there were significant peaks in volumes to stores.”
